Hypnobabies Classes

Hypnobabies classes are a six week, 18 hour series. Classes are held at A Mother's Love Birth Center in Independence, Missouri on Saturdays from 10am until 1pm. My next session of classes will begin January 5th and end February 9th.  There are only two spots remaining!

Group classes are $345 per couple, which includes the Hypnobabies course materials: your 175 page Hypnobabies workbook, 7 CDs for the Hypno-Mom, 1 CD for the Birth Partner, the Hypnobabies Quick Reference Guide for Labor, the Birth Partner's Guide Booklet, 5 Hypnobabies scripts in a spiral bound book and quite a few other goodies! (materials are a $140 retail value!). **Mail in your registration one month prior to the start date for the Early Bird rate of $295!**

Blooma Prenatal Yoga

Created especially for the expectant mother, this 75 minute class will explore yoga, health, and birth preparation in a fun and relaxing environment.  Beginning January 5th, 2013, please join me at 6:00pm on Tuesdays and 8:00am on Saturdays.  Classes will be held at A Mother's Love Birth Center in Independence, Missouri.  Email me at lauren@peaceful-birth.com or call 417-234-6835 for registration.

Yoga class options:  $50 for 5 classes, $90 for 10 classes, or $180 for 20 classes. I'll have your pass to keep track of when you've joined me so you can come to yoga twice a week or once a month - whatever works for you!


 

Birth Doula, HypnoDoula, and Postpartum Support

I offer birth doula and hypnodoula services for expectant Hypnobabies families in and around Kansas City, MO, primarily in Blue Springs, Lee's Summit and Independence.

As a birth doula, I provide support and information every step of the way for my clients. I meet with my clients twice prenatally to discuss their baby's upcoming arrival and their birth preferences. When mom is 38 weeks pregnant, I am on call 24 hours a day to be by her and her partner's side when her birthing time begins. I also visit with my clients twice after baby arrives to talk about baby, how the birth went, and offer breastfeeding or infant care support and local resources.  I continue to be on call for the first two weeks post partum via phone or Skype for breastfeeding guidance and general infant care questions.

I am a Hypnobabies Certified Hypno-Doula and incorporate that into my birth doula work.  I assist mom and her partner with their self hypnosis cues and relaxation throughout their birthing.  I offer this in addition to the typical birth doula services such as massage, aromatherapy, and assistance with birthing positions.
